As a participant of CU CHAMPION outreach sessions last year, I came to realize there are a lot of elders who need medical help and advice, which makes the campaign a great platform for students like us to put our knowledge into practice. As a core team member this year, I would like to, again, use my strength to help those in need and ultimately raise the public awareness of health issues and work with students from other disciplines.

CU CHAMPION is a wonderful organization that truly makes an impact on the community through its high-calibre outreach services and medication safety talks. Volunteering for CU CHAMPION in the past 2 years has allowed me to experience the joy of being able to genuinely help elderlies with their health monitoring. As a pharmacy student, these experiences have helped me better understand the role of a pharmacist in the community.
Now that I am a part of the Core Team, I am ready to contribute more to the community by taking up a leading role. I am certain that there will be challenges ahead, but I am grateful for this opportunity to serve, learn and succeed alongside my amazing teammates.

Last year being one of the mentor leading high school students in outreach, I have noticed that there are lots of people, in particular the elderly are in need of health education. Thus, I wish to do more to help the underprivileged via being one of the core team members of CU CHAMPION. At part of the core team, I hope I could grow from strength to strength and become a mature team player.

During last year's CU CHAMPION summer outreach, we volunteers had the opportunity to reach out and provide health-related services to the elderly. In which I realized the elderly often faced various health problems, and our help, though limited, could mean a lot to them.
As a core team member, I wish to apply my knowledge to help the public and listen to the needs of those we serve in the future.

In the past summer, I have participated in some CU CHAMPION outreaches and I found that just a little chat with the elderly would bring them happiness. This year, I want to step forwards and do more for the communities or simply reach out to more people and bring them happiness.
For sure, as a pharmacy student, I would also hope that, through the outreaches, I can work with members from different disciplines and make use of our knowledge to serve the communities, to share with them our concerns, to encourage them to be aware of their health and care more about people around them.
