Children's Race

Young at Heart Ambassador scheme

About the project

Our project aims to organize outreach services to alleviate children’s  stress under the pandemic, who have been staying at home for a long time. Children from Harmony House, a non-profit organization will be recruited. A total of 5 outreaches in the format of educational entertainment will be held. Each outreach can be treated as a short day-camp for the children with different inspiring emotion management-themed games.

We will recruit CUHK students from the Faculty of Education, Medicine and Social Science to join these services. It provides a means for university students to understand children through their interactions with children and most importantly, to have a fun time between children and university students and create bonding.

Our goal is to understand and reduce children’s stress under COVID-19, and prepare students for their future development through service learning and interprofessional collaboration.

Visions:

Enhance understanding towards children

Alleviate Children's stress

foster interprofessional
