Summer Outreach 2013
Medical students joined the team in 2013, and for the first time the outreach team conducted basic ECG (Electrocardiography) monitoring for community elders. Between July and August, the team has visited 15 elderly community centers, conducted 16 outreach sessions, and served 760 elders.
There were 141 Medical, Pharmacy, Nursing student volunteers, and 52 alumnus registered pharmacists and nurses participated in Summer Outreach 2013. Meanwhile, the team would base on the conditions of some elders to arrange follow-up visits.
