Teaching and Learning During Pandemic

In 2020, the pandemic COVID-19 is threatening the world. Home-based (online) teaching and learning (T&L) appears compelling and becomes prevailing worldwide due to school closures announced by governments in different countries which aims at enhancing social distancing and reducing the spread of disease. Online learning has been adopted by many in this technological era, bringing up issues concerning this new mode of study.

Goals:

Reflect the impact on the learning experience of students brought by the new mode of T&L.

Collect comments that can serve as recommendations for the continuation and further development of online T&L.

Investigate the association between the implementation of home-based online T&L and the qualities of learning experiences of students in Hong Kong.

The learning experience of university students and high school students during the epidemic of new coronavirus pneumonia

Analyse the effectiveness of non-traditional teaching methods during the outbreak

Summarize the media and platforms of learning activities in the past few months

Compare students' attitudes at home and traditional classroom learning

Assess the impact of the outbreak on their learning plan and personal life

Collect students' opinions on studying at home
