CU CHAMPION provides information related to fake health news and analysis on recent health topics. During the pandemic period, different claims about disease prevention methods have been prevailing on the internet, which validity is often uncertain and thus brings confusion to the general public.

 

The aim of this project is to educate the public how to distinguish between true and fake health news, as well as to get insights on current health topics. Besides, by posting graphics and short paragraphs on Facebook and Instagram, we wish to clarify some common health-related misconceptions and confusing terms, so as to transfer correct health information to the public.
