Winter Outerach (2014/2015)

The team conducted outreach services at Mui Wo (Lantau Island), Chau Tau, and Wan Toi Shan (rural Yuen Long area) in December 2014, and January 2015. It was our first time reaching the elders in rural areas in Hong Kong. The service aimed at promoting healthy lifestyle, and medicaiton safety among the elders living in rural areas. The team served nearly 100 elders in 3 Winter Outreach sessions.  

Content:

1) Health education lecture: Medication Safety, Fall Prevention, Atrial Fibrillation

2) Blood Pressure and Glucose Monitoring      

3) ECG (Electrocardiography) Monitoring

4) Provide Health and Medicaiton Safety Education 

5) Health Survey
