慢性阻塞性肺病指呼吸系統經長期破壞，引致呼吸道阻塞及收窄，令肺部難以呼出和吸入空氣，導致缺氧、氣喘、咳嗽等徵狀，甚至影響患者一般日常活動。慢性阻塞性肺病是一種無法治癒且病情會不斷惡化的慢性疾病，於全球的發病率持續上升。
